I use different types of high temperature clay to create unique bonsai penjing mud figurines. Then the sculptures are baked for the first time at 500°C to eliminate water, and the second firing is from room temperature 1210°C during 12 hours. I have to wait till 2 days for cooling before opening the kiln and get a final result of the work.

Propagation by air layering is another method that I use to propagate mini bonsai or mame bonsai every year. From pine trees to Japanese maples, it takes from 1 month to 6 month to obtain a new root system. The favorite air layering period is between April and the end of July based on the temperate climate.
